How do I access books during virtual learning?

Placing a hold on a library book is very simple. While logged into RapidID

• click on the Destiny icon
• Select Destiny Discovery on the left side of the screen
• From here, you can search books by title, subject author and keyword
• Once you have found your next read, click on the "Hold" button.
• Ms. Blaco will notify students by email once their holds are ready.
• Books on hold are kept in the LIBRARY for 10 days.

 

Yearbook Updates

When sending yearbook photos, be sure to include your name, and a short description.

Million Word Readers

Although we do not have access to Accelerated Reader at the moment, we would still like to encourage Lincoln Readers to track their reading progress. When you finish reading a book, you can log into  arbookfind.com    and search your book. Look for the total number of words. You will need to keep a written list of all the books you read so when the time comes to celebrate our Million Word Readers, you can submit your list. Million Word Readers will be featured in the yearbook, and if we are back on campus, we will have a celebratory luncheon.

(Traditional school days)

When can I go to the library?

Morning: You must obtain a 'Library Lunch Pass' from the Front Office to go to the library before school starts.

Lunchtime: You must obtain a 'Library Lunch Pass' from the Hall Monitor at lunchtime by the C-wing restrooms.

During School: You must obtain a blue pass from your teacher for the class that you will be missing.

 

Book Check-out Information:

You may check out two books for a 2-week period.

You can check out books before school, during lunch or with a pass from your teacher during the school day.

Library hours are 7:00am-1:35pm daily.

Return all library books to the circulation desk (Ms. Blaco's desk) during school or use the blue return box outside the library door.

There are 3 student computers in the library. Two of the computers are for research and one is for Online Patron Access Computer (OPAC) to be used to search our amazing book collection.
